4 days training (Monday – Thursday) with 1-day assessment (Friday)

Accommodation at our ITC lodge (with WiFi and DSTV, situated on same premises as the training venue) – FREE

All meals and snacks purchased from our cafeteria are at your own cost

Shuttle information:
We now provide a free shuttle from Cape Town to Plettenberg Bay and back every week.
The shuttle will depart from Cape Town station, Shell petrol station @ The Angolan embassy (see location pin) @ 10 am Sunday morning.
And it will return at the end of the week after assessment.
We will also pick up trainees along the N2 after Caledon at the Fuel stations along the way till Knysna between 12 and 4 pm.
If you are flying to George airport please try to arrive after 2 pm on Sunday and we shall collect between 2-4 pm for free.
We now provide a free shuttle to and from Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay every week. The shuttle will depart from the Engen 1Plus petrol station @ The Port Elizabeth Airport. See location pin (https://maps.app.goo.gl/4WcwQpSFjRaTLD5o8)@ 16h30 on Sunday afternoon. Please ensure to be at the collection point by 16h00.
The shuttle will return to the Engen 1Plus at the Port Elizabeth airport on Saturdays at noon. 🥇 The shuttle is available on a first come, first served basis.
For international travel, if you are now flying into South Africa to please fly to Cape Town and arrive on Saturday and then make accommodation arrangements and make your way to the pickup point on Sunday morning for the free shuttle.
Course Requirements – you must:
• Be 18 years or older
• Be medically fit (you will be required to fill in a medical declaration form on arrival)
• Have an aptitude for working at heights
What to bring:
• Suitable footwear i.e. trainers. No open toed footwear on course please.
• Clothing and toiletries for the week.
• Enthusiasm!! The week is enjoyable but intense.
• Warm clothing in winter time.
Existing IRATA level 1s, 2s, and 3s looking to re-validate or upgrade must bring their logbooks with the required number of hours and experience for your upgrade. Candidates failing in this requirement cannot be assessed. Refunds are not applicable here!!

IRATA Levels
Level 1
This is the entry level course. You will need to bring a form of identification. Suitable clothing and toiletries for the week. No open toed shoes or sandals. All other equipment is supplied FREE of charge.
Level 2
You will need your IRATA log book completed and signed correctly with a minimum of 1000 hours and 1 year minimum experience since level 1 status was attained. Suitable clothing and toiletries for the week.
Level 3
Correct log book requirements of 1000 hours since level 2 status and 1 year minimum experience at level 2. The log books are assessed in detail by trainer and assessor so please ensure you have the correct hours and experience before you start to avoid disappointment. Suitable clothing and toiletries for the week.
